Tom & Megan Wood | Lead Pastors
Tom and Megan are passionate about ministry, people, and building a strong, faith-filled community. Their journey together started at Hillsong College in Sydney, Australia, where they met while studying theology. Tom, originally from the UK, became a Christian at 19 and moved to Australia soon after. Megan, who grew up in Alaska and Montana, moved there at 20 to pursue her calling. They got married in 2008 and now have three amazing kids—Elijah, and twins Esther and Moses. In 2020, Tom & Megan joined the team at Word of Life Assembly of God. They love leading the church, encouraging people in their faith, and serving alongside an incredible team. They live in Baldwinsville, NY, and when they’re not pouring into ministry, they love spending time as a family. Tom is all about Chelsea FC, The Office, and anything Bob Dylan. Megan enjoys blogging, hiking, and getting lost in a good TV series. More than anything, they love seeing people grow in their faith and find their place in the kingdom of God!
Lisa Durant | Care Pastor & WOLCA Chaplain
Pastor Lisa has served in many church leadership roles with her husband Harry in youth and pastoral ministry since 1990. They have lived in the Central New York area since 1995, raising their two sons, Caleb and Joshua and have attended Word of Life since 2010. Lisa has served as the NY Ministry Network Girls Ministries Director in the past and was the Children’s Pastor at Word of Life from 2017 to 2023. She loves to help connect people with their next steps and discover their giftings as they follow Jesus and is honored to come alongside those who are hurting, combining ministry experience with her past career in nursing.
Bryan Thiel-Aquilina | Children's Pastor
Pastor Bryan grew up in the south Jersey. Bryan became a christian at 15, baptized and called in to ministry at 16. He and his wife, Darlene, met in 8th grade and now have an amazing little family with three littles: Bryan, Abigail and Camryn. Bryan & Darlene have served in ministry since they were young as volunteers in New Jersey as well as serving on staff in Florida and in Wyoming. They have been committed to a life of ministry and been married since November 2015. Bryan joined the pastoral team in September 2024 and finds it a great honor to serve the church, to be able to have the opportunity able to work with the staff, & serve the families of Word of Life however he can. In Pastor Bryan’s free time, he looks forward to time with family, getting outdoors whether it is walking, hiking, swimming Golfing or hunting. He also enjoys auto racing & cheering on his sports teams: Pittsburgh Penguins, New York Yankees, Chicago Bears and the Wyoming University Cowboys!
Annie Bullard | Youth Pastor
It is Annie’s great joy to see lives made whole by Christs deep love. She considers it a high privilege and honor to serve the students of Word of Life- a place where students encounter the love of Jesus while discovering and sharpening their god given gifts. Pastor Annie has been married to the love of her life, Rob, since 1995 and together they have three grown children (Amber, Matt & Amanda) and four grands! (Annie's favorite is a good 'embarrassing moment' story. She also fully believes that Jesus is our redeemer; she sees a life that is de-railed as a life with God potential!
Fred Driscoll // School Administrator
Rev. Fred Driscoll grew up in Baldwinsville and is excited to call this area home again. When he was 19, he met his wife Christie at a Master’s Commission internship in Concord, NC. Fred has spent over ten years as a Children’s Pastor, fifteen years overseeing church administrations, and most recently as a Lead Pastor. He is excited to join the pastoral staff serving as the Administrator for WOLCA. Providing a sound education with a Biblical foundation has been a long-term priority for Fred. The Driscolls are passionate about connecting families with the life-changing Gospel of Jesus Christ! He and Christie have seven kids: Frederick, Kaylee, Brandon, Caeden, Ethan, Savannah, and Jenna. The family enjoys the outdoors, camping, and unplugging from time to time.
Luke Kutler // Creative Director
Luke is passionate about authentic worship and creativity. Originally from Ithaca, NY, he spent years in the music industry, working in studios across New York City, Ithaca, and Nashville. Now on staff at Word of Life Assembly of God in Baldwinsville, he loves seeing God glorified through worship and all things-creative. Luke married his wife, Brenna, in the fall of 2019. Together, they are passionate about creating spaces where people can encounter God. Outside of ministry, Luke and Brenna enjoy great food, making espresso at home, exploring new places, and spending quality time with friends and family.
Josh Burns // Production Team Lead
With a heart devoted to serving the community, Josh works tirelessly behind the scenes. His commitment to excellence fosters an environment where the message resonates vibrantly, leaving a lasting impact on all who attend. Beyond his role in production, Joshua has a rich background in game development and streaming. He has been involved in various gaming communities and has experience with content creation and live streaming. This experience has honed his technical skills and deepened his understanding of audience engagement, both of which he brings to his work in ministry. Joshua's unique blend of production expertise and gaming experience allows him to create immersive and impactful experiences for the community, both within the church and in the digital realm.
Cathleen Zahradnik | Executive Assistant
Cathleen Zahradnik brings a wealth of experience and a heart full of passion to her role as Executive Assistant to our church leadership team. Her journey of faith began in high school when she embraced a personal relationship with Jesus, marking the start of her "YES Adventure"—a life dedicated to saying "yes" to God's calling. Throughout her spiritual journey, Cathleen has continually surrendered to God's guidance, leading her to unexpected blessings, including her marriage to her husband and the joy of motherhood. Her commitment to ministry is evident in her ordination with the Assemblies of God and over a decade of experience as a full-time staff pastor. Cathleen's story is a testament to the transformative power of giving God your "YES." In her role at our church, Cathleen combines her administrative expertise with a deep-seated passion for helping others discover their divine potential. Her journey of faith and dedication to service inspire those around her to embark on their own "YES Adventure," trusting that God will lead them to places they never expected and enable them to fulfill their unique purpose. We are blessed to have Cathleen as part of the team!
Trudy Bisson | Book Keeper
Trudy is a vital part of our church family, serving as our dedicated bookkeeper. She brings not only her skills with numbers but also a heart full of passion for the church and the Kingdom of God. For Trudy, keeping everything running smoothly behind the scenes isn’t just a job—it’s her way of serving the Lord and helping others grow in faith. Trudy’s warm personality and love for people make her a joy to be around. She’s always happy to lend a listening ear or share a word of encouragement. Outside of her work at the church, Trudy loves hitting the road on her motorcycle, soaking in the beauty of God’s creation. Her favorite moments, though, are the ones spent with her family, making memories, and sharing laughs. If you haven’t had a chance to meet Trudy yet, be sure to say hello!
